Golf Club

Birkdale Golf Club course, designed by professional golfer Arnold Palmer,
provides 18 holes of challenging andexciting golf. A golfer's scores are
directly related to placement off of the tees - oak, spruce, and pine
trees, along with natural streams, ensnare misguided balls. The 7,043-yard,
par-72 course is always in impeccable shape with firm, fast greens according

Charles T. Myers Golf Course
Charles T. Myers Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 course with a full
range of amenities. The elevation of several holes makes the wind a key
component of play - the course's 12th hole has the highest elevation in
Mecklenburg County. Wildlife such as ducks, turkey, deer, and hawks are
frequently spotted by golfers. Amenities include a large driving range
and putting green, an outdoor pavilion, indoor dining, snack bar, Top-Flite
rental clubs, fully-stocked pro shop, computerized handicap tracking system,
and the NIKE Golf Learning Center. The Charles T. Myers Golf Course is
located on the former Harrisburg Road Landfill at 7817 Harrisburg Road.

Charlotte
Golf Links tout themselves as Charlotte's number one golf course. The
par-71 course, designed by architect Tom Doak, caters to every skill level
with three sets of tees. Pond, streams, and rough characterize the course.
Its signature hole, a par 3 nicknamed Prudence, provides golfers with
an outstanding vista. Amenities include a grill room, pro shop, and PGA

Eastwood Golf Club Inc.
The Eastwood Golf Club, designed by architect Clayton Hefner, is a par-71,
18-hole course. It measures 5,936 yards from the championship tees. The

Highland Creek Golf Club
Highland
Creek Golf Club, located at 7001 Highland Creek Parkway, considers itself
to be the best and toughest course in the Charlotte area. Its challenging
layout features bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways set among lofty
trees and winding creeks. The 18-hole course has four sets of tees to
accommodate varied skill levels, 72 bunkers, and five lakes. Water comes
into play on 13 holes. Amenities include locker rooms, a fully stocked

Larkhaven Golf Club
Larkhaven Golf Club, located at 4801 Camp Stewart Road, is an 18-hole,
semiprivate course. The course was designed by golf architect Butch Connell
and built in 1958. The par-72 course measures 6,464 yards with a slope
of 121 from the championship tees. Course amenities include a driving
range, rental clubs, and an onsite professional golfer. Rental carts are

Oak Hills Golf Course
Oak Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole Bermuda grass course with water in
play. Architect G.W. Picklesimer designed the course, which was built

Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation
Charlotte's Best magazine voted Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation the best
golf course eastside and the best new course. GolfCarolina.com voted it
the number one golf course to play in Charlotte. The semiprivate, 18-hole
championship course - designed by renowned golf course architect Tom Jackson
- features fairways lined with pines and hardwoods. There are four sets

Pawtuckett Golf Club
Pawtuckett Golf Club is an 18-hole bent grass course with water in play.
The course measures 6,319 yards from the back tees. The course, designed

Renaissance Park Golf Course
The Renaissance Park Golf Course, a par-72, 7,360-yard course, is one
of Charlotte's foremost golfing facilities. Its front nine holes, which
are wide open with bunkers, are characteristic of the Scottish Links style;
the back nine feature elevation changes amidst woods. The course's par-4
signature hole is number 18, which offers a fantastic view of the city
line. Amenities include an outdoor deck, outdoor pavilion, snack bar,
pro shop, NIKE Golf Learning Center, and handicap tracking system. The

Revolution Park Golf Course
Revolution Park Golf Course, set among maples, pines, and hardwoods, is
a great 9-hole course for beginners and high handicappers. The course,
ordered to admit all races per a 1950s Supreme Court directive, used to
ban African-Americans. Today, a sign on the first tee honors the first
African-American that teed off after the court ruling. The par-36 course
is 2,976 yards. Amenities include a snack bar, pro shop, and pro instructions.

Sunset Hills Golf Course
Sunset Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole, scenic course filled with wildlife.
The front nine holes are characterized by tree-lined fairways and undulating
greens. The par-71 course measures 6,124 yards from the blue tees. Some
of its more demanding holes include number 10 (a 590-yard par 5) and number
1 (a 440-yard par 4). A creek flows along many holes. Sunset Hills Golf

The Tradition Golf Club
The Tradition Golf Club course, designed by architect John Cassell II,
features a rolling terrain surrounded by woods. The greens vary between
flat and undulating. Eleven water hazards come into play along the course.
Strategic shot-making is the only way to score on this course. Amenities
include a 5,400-square-foot clubhouse, dining facilities, and a fully
stocked pro shop. The par-72 course, located at 3800 Prosperity Church
